National Unity Day Wishes

National Unity Day, introduced by the Government of India in 2014, is observed annually on October 31st to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the “Iron Man of India”. As the country’s first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, his monumental leadership was pivotal in integrating over 560 diverse princely states into a single, unified nation following independence. The day stands as a powerful reminder of the nation’s inherent resilience and strength in safeguarding its sovereignty, peace, and integrity against potential threats.
