Happy Naraka Chaturdashi Wishes

Naraka Chaturdashi, affectionately known as Choti Diwali or Roop Chaudas, beautifully symbolizes the ultimate triumph of divine light over darkness and spiritual ignorance. Observed with immense devotion on the fourteenth day of the waning moon in the Kartik month, this vibrant day celebrates the legendary slaying of the demon tyrant Narakasura by Lord Krishna and Queen Satyabhama, bringing liberation and peace back to the universe. The dawn hours are filled with sacred significance as families wake up before the sun to perform the traditional Abhyang Snan, using aromatic oils and herbal ubtan pastes to cleanse away negative energies and invite physical radiance. As twilight approaches, homes are illuminated with the first sets of beautiful clay diyas, filling the air with hope, warmth, and the joyful anticipation of welcoming Goddess Lakshmi the very next evening.
