Happy Govardhan Puja Wishes

Goverdhan Puja is a joyful Hindu festival celebrated the day after Diwali that honors Lord Krishna’s protection of his devotees. According to legend, Krishna lifted the massive Govardhan Hill on his little finger to shield the villagers of Vrindavan from torrential rains sent by the angry god Indra. Today, devotees celebrate by building symbolic mounds of cow dung or clay to represent the hill, decorating them with flowers, and offering prayers. Central to the festival is the Annakut, a massive mountain of vegetarian food prepared and offered to Krishna as a gesture of gratitude and community unity.
